Vanita Gupta: Mass Incarceration and Racial Inequalities

download (1)Vanita Gupta, Deputy Legal Director of the ACLU and Director of the ACLU’s Center for Justice, was the invited keynote speaker at this year’s Northwest ACLU conference at Lewis & Clark College back in September. She specializes in issues concerning racial inequalities and the mass incarceration system. Her New York Times op-ed tells the story in greater detail here.
