South Asian American Digital Archive: History at Our Fingertips

Samip Mallick, founder and president of the South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA), was my guest for APA Compass on KBOO 90.7 FM. We then investigated some of the documents surrounding the earliest wave of South Asian immigrants into Washington state in the early 1900s. The language surrounding the sentiments of these immigrants gives insight into our current policies.
